Last entry, we mentioned that the ESP 7 adds Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity to its predecessor’s feature set. Now the ESP 9 takes the biggest evolutionary leap of all in adding fax capability to the ESP series’ print, copy and scan functionality. The ESP 9 also features a 10” control panel with a 3” color LCD screen for previewing and editing photos. Print speeds reach 30 ppm in color and 32 in black and white, and you get Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity.
Photo enthusiasts will enjoy printing PC-free via PictBridge and memory card, and the separate plain paper and dedicated small format photo trays will save them the time and frustration of changing paper on a regular basis. Just like the other ESP printers, the ESP 9 uses two simple ink cartridges that cost less than a lot of the ink you’d buy for other photo printers. MSRP for the ESP 9 comes out to $299.99, making it the priciest ESP printer to date.
