In the big picture, the Epson Stylus NX200 represents a notable step up from the Stylus NX100 when it comes to speed and photo printing functionality. The Stylus NX200 copies, scans, and prints at a reported 32 ppm in color and in black, while the Stylus NX100 prints at 14 ppm in color and 26 in black. In addition, the Stylus NX200 offers PC-free photo printing via PictBridge and memory card.
Otherwise, nothing on the spec sheet recommends this new all-in-one as anything more than a convenient jack-of-all-trades for your home or small office. No LCD screen for previewing photos, and it doesn’t offer any network connectivity. But for an MSRP of $79.99, the Stylus NX200 gives you just about what you’d expect from a budget-friendly inkjet MFP.
