The new Epson Stylus NX All-in-Ones have one thing going for them - all 3 go for well below $100. That said, the Stylus NX300’s seemingly bargain-basement $89.99 MSRP comes with a small disclaimer - it lacks the PC-free photo connectivity of the $79.99 Stylus NX200. To make up for it, the Stylus NX300 adds fax capability to its copying, scanning, and ability to print at 15 ppm in color and 31 in black.
Otherwise, the Stylus NX300 doesn’t really add anything groundbreaking to the growing all-in-one family. No LCD for previewing photos or any network connectivity that would recommend it for anything beyond home, small office, or college dorm use. However, four functions for under $100 is especially rare (if not unprecedented) among modern MFPs, which makes the Stylus NX300 a model worth watching.
