In addition to calling itself the smallest laser printer on the market, the 14.1 pound Samsung ML-1630W has been honored at CES 2009 for its sleek design. You can share the printer over a network via Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and blue LEDs add a modern feel to the stylish black frame. The ML-1630W uses a single black toner cartridge with a reported yield of 2,000 pages based on ISO/IEC 19752.
Besides being compact and network-ready, the ML-1630W claims to operate at a noise level quieter than a “conversation between two people.” Keep in mind that in the current product description, Samsung refers to the ML-1630W as an MFP, but it’s a single function printer. MSRP comes out to $285.99, which seems a little high for the home office-oriented feature set, but I guess style has its price.
