In today’s progressive workplace, green is good, and that apparently makes the HP Officejet Pro 8000 Inkjet Printer the choice of a new generation. First and foremost, it’s Energy Star qualified, and HP claims that it uses only half the energy of a color laser printer. Keep in mind that the Officejet Pro 8000 comes in two models. The $149.99 base model features standard USB and Ethernet connections, and the $179.99 wireless model adds Wi-Fi to the mix.
Besides networking and reduced energy consumption, the Officejet Pro 8000 features automatic duplex printing to help you save paper with the touch of a button. Print speeds reach up to 34 ppm in color, 35 in black, and ISO/IEC 24734 print speeds reach up to 11 images/min in color, 15 in black. Overall, the Officejet Pro 8000 looks like a decent value for small offices intent on going green.
