Premier is a term often reserved for foreign heads of state, but HP has taken the bold step of dubbing its new inkjet all-in-one the Officejet Pro 8500 Premier. This printer can scan, copy, fax and print at 11 images/min in color and 15 images/min in black based on ISO/IEC 24734. In addition, Wi-Fi and Ethernet make it easy to share in your small office.
Besides the basics, standard auto-duplexing helps you save paper, and you can print PC-free via PictBridge and Memory Card. In addition, the 50 page ADF makes it possible to multi-task instead of having to manually feed in documents page by page. The Officejet Pro 8500 Premier goes for an MSRP of $499.99. For $399.99, you can get the Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless and forego the auto-duplexing and second 250 sheet tray. Finally, for $299.99, you can get the Base model, which is basically the Wireless version with a 35 page ADF and without the Wi-Fi. All three versions of the Officejet Pro 8500 use the same ink.
