So it’s only fair that HP has started its own 40/40 club with the new Officejet 6500 Inkjet All-in-One Printer, which claims to save you “up to 40% per color page compared with laser printers, as well as let you use 40% less energy.” Besides being green and minimizing your cost per page for ink, the Officejet 6500 scans, copies, faxes and prints at a reported 31 ppm in color and 32 in black.

 

You can also print photos PC-free via Memory Card, and the 35 page ADF saves you the trouble of feeding in lengthy documents page by page. In addition, families and employees in smaller offices can share the printer via wired Ethernet. MSRP for the Officejet 6500 comes out to $159.99. If you need Wi-Fi and auto-duplexing, the HP Officejet 6500 Wireless uses the same ink and is available for an MSRP of $199.99.
